Luke Fitzgerald is our resident seminarian and will be with us through December 2026.  

Born and raised in Arkansas, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy in March of 2003. He served nearly 14 years as a nuclear mechanic, primarily aboard submarines.
 
Upon leaving the Navy, Luke began his theological formation at Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology (Hales Corners, Wisconsin) in 2017. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Cardinal Stritch University in 2022 and completed his Master of Arts in Theology in May 2024.
 
Luke entered formation as a seminarian for the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings in Spring 2025, assigned to Sacred Heart Parish in Miles City prior to arriving at St. Leo's in December. Having completed his academic studies, Luke is completing a pastoral year in Lewistown. Luke assists with altar serving, catechesis, visits to the homebound, and duties as sacristan.
